Smokey Rock Farm is a small animal rescue sanctuary in Muskoka, Ontario. Founded by Kristin in 2015, the farm is privately owned, funded, and managed. Therapy sessions are not offered at the farm.
Over the years, Smokey Rock has welcomed horses, pigs, chickens, ducks, cats, dogs, even the occasional pigeon and injured wildlife. Some animals were fostered and moved on to loving homes. Others stayed and became family.
Today, more than 30 animals live here as permanent residents. Each one receives lifelong care, safety, and the chance to simply be free from harm, free to thrive.
The farm is more than a sanctuary. It’s a reminder that safe spaces matter, that healing can take many forms, and that care is a practice worth living out every day.
The farm's mission is to offer safe haven and second chances, ensuring the animals receive the care and compassion they deserve.

Nestled on 18 acres, this sanctuary currently provides a forever home for horses, pot-belly pigs, chickens, ducks, dogs, cats, and local wildlife.
