Kristin has lived and worked in Muskoka for over 20 years. Her background includes social services work within the region before transitioning to private practice. This long-standing connection to the community informs her understanding of the personal and professional pressures that can arise in smaller networks.
While working on her doctoral studies in Montreal, she continues to spend as much time as possible in Muskoka and maintains strong ties to the region.
Living in Muskoka carries a particular rhythm. The region is often seen as a seasonal destination, yet for many permanent residents it is home with full-time work, leadership responsibilities, caregiving demands, and community visibility that can feel intensified in a smaller network. Seasonal population shifts can change the pace and pressures of daily life. Therapy provides a private space to reflect on these dynamics without needing to perform or explain them.
Therapy offers a confidential space to think clearly about what you’re navigating.
