Kristin offers clinical supervision and consultation for professionals working in complex clinical and organizational environments. This work is grounded in over two decades of experience across child welfare, health and social services, leadership, policy, and private practice.
Supervision and consultation are appropriate when responsibility is high and there is a need for thoughtful, well-contained space to think clearly about clinical work, professional judgment, or systems-level challenges.
These services are distinct from therapy and are structured accordingly.
Current offerings include:
Clinical supervision is available for Registered Social Workers (RSWs) seeking an ongoing or periodic space to think carefully about their clinical work and professional experience.
Supervision includes discussion of cases, along with attention to how the work is affecting the clinician. This may involve noticing patterns, responses, or pressures that show up in practice over time. The extended session length allows space to consider both clinical material and the practitioner’s experience of the work.
Sessions are 75 minutes. The pace and frequency are shaped collaboratively and can change over time depending on need.
Case-focused supervision is available for clinicians who want focused input on specific cases.
These sessions are centered on the clinical material brought to the appointment. Clinicians may bring one or more cases for consultation, with attention to assessment, formulation, ethical considerations, or decision-making.
Sessions are 50 minutes and may be booked as needed. Some clinicians use case consultation on its own, while others alternate between case consultation and clinical supervision depending on what feels most useful at a given time.
Leadership and systems consultation is available for professionals working in health, social services, and related organizational settings.
This service is intended for individuals in leadership or senior roles who are managing responsibility, complexity, and decision-making within systems. Consultation may focus on ethical judgment, professional isolation, organizational dynamics, privacy and risk, or navigating conflict and change within teams or institutions.
This work draws on Kristin’s experience in senior management, policy and governance, project leadership, and workforce development, alongside her background as a social worker and clinician.
Sessions are 75 minutes in length. The extended time allows space to consider both the situation at hand and the broader context in which decisions are being made.
Leadership and systems consultation is not psychotherapy and is not clinical supervision. It offers a structured, confidential space to think clearly about complex professional situations.
